FIRST CLASS LEISURE - CANCELLATION TERMS (PLEASE READ)


TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING YOU MUST NOTIFY US, BY PHONE, SEND AN EMAIL, TEXT 07779484151 OR LEAVE A VOICE MAIL MESSAGE.  Our cancellation policy and terms below apply to all bookings - please read, if you have made a booking with our company then you have accepted our terms and conditions of hire.
 


If you are unsure of any of the cancellation terms please contact us Immediately or before making a booking.

When completing the online booking form you will be asked if you agree to our terms and conditions of hire Including our cancellation policy. 

We understand that it is sometimes necessary to cancel your booking, this is no problem but our cancellation policy will apply, as stated at the time of booking. Our cancellation policy applies to all bookings.

Cooling Off Period: If you (the customer) wish to cancel your booking for any reason or simple change of mind then this is fine, the cancellation needs to be done quickly or within the 24 hours of making a booking. We cannot offer the cooling off period on late bookings/short notice bookings less than 3 days before the event date. 

Cancellation by Marquee Party Tent Hire / First Class Leisure for reasons totally out of our control, then a full refund will be given. If we cancel your booking for safety reasons or adverse weather conditions then we will allow the booking to be transferred to another date and we will also transfer over the booking fee payment over to your new date, as long as the new date is given within 7 days of the cancellation date. Refund of monies will only be issued by way of date transfer allowing the hirer to rebook for another date.    

We DO NOT let customers down and we will always turn up at events.  

Cancellation fees: All booking fees paid are non refundable. If no booking fee has been paid then a 25% cancellation charge will apply on ANY cancellation. ANY cancellation less than 7 days before the event day will be subject to a 50% charge. ANY cancellation less than 48 hours before the event date will be charged the full hire charge, these charges are non negotiable. Our cancellation fees and terms and conditions may change depending on the type of event and equipment ordered, these cancellation terms will always be clearly noted/stated on the booking confirmation order, which will be sent 24-48 hours after making the booking with us. It is the hirers responsibility to check and read all hire terms.

We can tell genuine customers, so if we receive a booking but the customer had no real intention of making a booking with us or if you book equipment for the purpose of testing our booking system/website for the intention of trying to see how our system works/operates you be charged a £50 cancellation fee for wasting our time and stopping anyone else booking equipment/date you have booked.

If at any stage of the booking process it clearly stated 'please contact us’ then this will mean additional fees may apply or there are problems which may not allow the booking to continue.  If you the hirer continue to make the booking without making any contact with our company to check the extra fees, then this is no fault of our company and the booking could or may be cancelled and additional fees will be applied to the order.  If the booking is amended and the correct additional fees are applied to the order and you do not agree and wish to cancel the booking, within the cooling off period, then we will agree to cancel the booking but less any fees incurred to our company, this includes the booking fee payment made and will include any card handling fees from the time of placing the order to the settlement fee sent to our company. 

Our website is a live 24/7 online booking system diary, so when you have booked equipment on our website for your event this then means the equipment/date is allocated to you, it also stops other customers from booking the equipment and also means we turn customers away for equipment already booked out. 

You should only book equipment on our website if you are 100% sure the equipment required is correct and your event date, venue and your event times are confirmed.  Please note, we DO NOT hold equipment pending the weather and we DO NOT hold equipment whilst you are deciding on guest numbers or for a venue to be confirmed.  If your venue cancels your event, then the booking fee paid to us to make your booking, will not be refunded back.

Bad Weather Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your booking due to bad weather/adverse weather conditions before your event date, you will lose your booking fee. Cancellation by the hirer due to any reason other than bad weather will incur our cancellation fees and will be calculated on the amount of time/notice given. 

Most of our equipment can be used Indoors and It is our discretion that some items may not be accepted for cancellation and may be charged in full. Sometimes we may be able to offer substitute items (to the same value) this however depends on our stock availability, your venue floor space and height clearance inside the venue. 

Transfer Your Booking: To transfer a booking to an alternative date you must call us first to check the date/time slots are available and we require a minimum of 28 days notice, otherwise you will lose your booking fee. If the transfer request is within 28 days we will transfer the booking fee to the new date free of charge (pending availability). If we have agreed/already agreed a booking date transfer and for any reason you request to cancel the new booking date, then the full hire charge is still payable and non transferrable.

We treat all our customers fair and do expect customers to respect our booking system and our terms and conditions agreed. We never let customers down and always communicate from start to finish.

Cheaper Price Cancellation: Cancelling a booking with us because you have found a cheaper price is NOT an acceptable cancellation reason, it is also very annoying and just wastes our time. We do not need to match cheap prices because most of these cheaper companies operate part time, may not be declaring income, may have no Insurance and cut corners on safety. 

If you wish to cancel equipment then your whole party or event must also be cancelled. If you just cancel our equipment and the party or event is not cancelled, then this is classed as just holding our equipment pending and then also stopped our equipment being booked online by other people.  Under these circumstances any cancellation will not be accepted and the full hire charge will still be payable. On any indoor/event cancellation we do sometimes call venues to check if the party has been cancelled, if the venue does agree the party has not been cancelled, the hirer will be liable for the cancellation charge as stated when placing the order with our company, at the start.

We do not hold equipment and any dates whilst you are awaiting and confirming guest numbers for your event.  Cancelling your order due to lack of guests is not our fault and is not an acceptable cancellation reason, and our cancellation charges will apply.

If you book equipment on our website booking system and fail to tell us you no longer require the item(s) (wasting our time) this will result in the hirer, venue address/telephone numbers/email address being blacklisted on our system and you will lose your booking fee.  If the cancellation is less than 48 hours before the event date you will be charged the full hire cost.

Please note, cancelling a booking with us because you have found a cheaper price is NOT an acceptable cancellation reason, we don’t offer ‘cheap’ and we do not need to match cheap prices because most of these cheaper companies operate part time, may not be declaring income, may have no Insurance, they will be cutting corners on safety, cleaning and may not turn up on your event day.  We no longer offer last minute bookings so if you get let down we will not be able to help.
